The City's bulky item drop-off service provider is Waste Corporation of America (WCA), . Residents will be allowed to drop off up to 2,000 pounds of bulky items, such as limited amounts of construction debris, furniture, brush, tree limbs, and tires. Fees for the bulky items drop-off service are divided in half between the resident and the City. Residents will pay $9 for up to 2,000 pounds brought in by car, pick-up truck, or a trailer less than eight feet in length. For loads brought on a trailer eight feet or longer, the fee will be $11. Tires are assessed at $2.50 each and no more than five tires can be brought in one load.

The transfer station does not accept liquids/chemicals, appliances, hazardous material, regular weekly trash, commercial waste, lead acid batteries, or leaves/grass clippings.

WCA’s hours for drop-off are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. The facility is located at 3700 W. 7th Street, on the south side of 7th Street, just west of Schifferdecker Avenue. For questions specific to the drop-off service, contact WCA at (417) 623-6620.
