The County Clerk's Office has forms available for you to complete and send to the State to obtain official copies of your birth/death certificate. Also, certified copies of most birth certificates from the state of Missouri can be printed at the Jasper County Health Department (417-358-3111) and the Newton County Health Department (417-451-3743) or the State of Missouri Vital Records Health Department at Po Box 570, 930 Wildwood, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102: Birth records (573) 751-6387, death records (573) 751-6370.
