How do I get an accident report?
Accident and reports can be requested at police records, 303 E. 3rd Street, Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00. They are $2.00 per report. Cash, Master Card, Visa or check only.

If you would like to download a copy of your accident report, visit the Carfax website at You will need the date of the crash, last name, and report number.
Carfax will charge a convenience fee of $5.50 in addition to the Police Department’s charge of $2.00 for the accident report.
If you would rather still come to the police department to obtain a copy and not pay the convenience fee, then that will still be an option.
