[ARCHIVED] First Degree Burglary at Papa Murphy's

On May 6, 2014 at approximately 2:00 PM, officers with the Joplin Police Department responded to Papa Murphy’s Pizza located at 2313 W. 7th Suite B in reference to a possible burglary. It was determined that a suspect had entered the business through the back door and was in the back room of the business where customers are not allowed. The suspect was seen going through a purse that belonged to one of the employees.

The suspect was later located in the Taco Bell restaurant located at 2315 W. 7th. The suspect was arrested for First Degree Burglary. Paperwork has been submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s Office for review of the charges.

The suspect was identified as Sherry M. Brooks, a 48 year old female.
