[ARCHIVED] Barricaded Suspect at 1411 E. 17th (UPDATE)

The initial suspect, Dennis Goode, was not located in the residence. It is believed that he fled the area prior to officer’s arrival. There were five people located in the residence. All five exited the residence without incident. Three of the five subjects in the residence had active warrants for their arrest. Those three subjects were transported to the Joplin City Jail. The two other subjects were released at the scene. One of the subjects that was released at the scene was a resident of the house.

Detectives with the Joplin Police Department responded to the location and followed up on some possible stolen property that was also located in the house. Detectives have seized some property and will continue to follow up on those items to determine whether or not the property is actually stolen.

The following subjects were arrested from the location:

Jordan T. Romero 24 year old male had a felony Failure to Appear Warrant out of Jasper County. The original charge was for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. The bond on the warrant is $2,500 cash only. Mr. Romero was a resident of 1411 E. 17th.

Bradley S. Reppond 29 year old male had a misdemeanor Failure to Appear Warrant out of Newton County. The original charge was for possession of drug paraphernalia. The bond on the warrant is $500. Mr. Reppond also had a warrant from the City of Joplin for Failure to Appear. The original charge was for state license plates required. The bond amount is $500.

Robert W. Kloeppel 34 year old male had a misdemeanor Failure to Appear Warrant from the City of Joplin. The original charge was for public consumption. The bond amount is $500.
