Public Safety Training Facility Open House Set
Public invited to attend Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Joplin City officials and members of the Joplin Police and Fire Departments invite the public to attend the opening of the temporary Public Safety Training Center (PSTC). A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 16 with the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. The temporary training center is located in the former airport terminal building at at 5501 Dennis Weaver Blvd.
The opening of this temporary facility is part of the first phase for the completion of the PSTC. Guests will be welcomed to tour the facility and learn more about the operations of the training center and its benefits to public safety personnel.
