Structure Fire, 1323 S Pennsylvania, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 1323 S Pennsylvania. Time of call was 2054 hours on Friday evening, 20 September. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 2058 hours to find heavy fire coming from main floor of a two story structure. The fire was contained to the kitchen area with extensive smoke and heat damage throughout the structure. Crews remained on scene until 2311 hours.
6 Joplin Fire units and 18 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with the JPD, and METS. Property owner is the Harry S. Truman CC, Carl Junction. Charlotte Clark was the tenant. No one was injured on the scene.
The cause of fire was determined to be an electrical plugin.
