[ARCHIVED] JPD Chaplain Receives Award

IMG_0656.JPG

We are very fortunate to have a group of Chaplains that serve the employees of the Joplin Police Department and their communities in their times of need. Today we had the opportunity to recognize one of our Chaplains, Bob Heath.

Mr. Heath recently received the Diplomat Training Level certificate from the International Conference of Police Chaplains. This certificate is awarded whenever a chaplain has completed 500 hours of professional studies and 15 years of service. We are very proud of his accomplishment and Chief Roberts presented him with a plaque today from the Police Department recognizing this accomplishment.

We also want to take the opportunity to thank all of our Chaplains for their dedicated service. Our Chaplains are David Schepper, Bob Heath, Gene Hutchcraft, and Tim Sumners. Gene was not able to make the presentation and is not pictured below.
