Structure Fire, 2005 S Empire, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 2005 S empire. Time of call was 1754 hours on Friday evening, 19 July. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1756 hours to find a two story wood framed residential structure with heavy fire showing. Fire crews extinguished the fire and ventilated the house. Crews remained on scene until 2000 hours Friday evening.
6 Joplin Fire units and 18 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with the JPD, and METS. There were no injuries on the scene. Ownership information was not available at the time of the report.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
