Dust Collector Fire, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at TAMKO, 601 N High. Time of call was 1703 hours Monday evening, 03 June. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1706 hours to find a fire in a dust collection system. Crews were sent with dry chemical extinguishers and thermal imagers to check for extension. The fire was contained in the filtration portion of the system. Crews remained on scene until 2052 hours Monday evening.
6 Joplin Fire units and 21 Joplin Fire personnel responded. There were no injuries on the scene.
