Mutual Aid, 413 Grant, Carthage, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a mutual aid request from the Carthage FD. Time of call was 1516 hours Saturday afternoon, 01 June. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1543 hours to find a three story commercial structure, the Sassy Spoon, on fire on the Carthage Square. Crews remained on scene until 0100 hours, Sunday morning.
3 Joplin Fire units and 9 Joplin Fire personnel responded. There were no injuries on the scene.
