Structure Fire, 2430 E Trenton.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2430 E Trenton Street. Time of call was 1829 hours Wednesday evening, 01 May. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1833 hours to find an outside storage shed on fire. Moderate smoke and light flame was showing. Residents of the property were trying to extinguish with a garden hose. Fire crews extinguished the fire.
2 Joplin Fire units and 9 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with the JPD, and METS. No one was injured on the scene.
Resident state he had been burning leaves near the shed and thought the fire was out. The shed is owned by Ron Shelton.
