Structure Fire, 2116 S Connor, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2116 S Connor. Time of call was 1324 hours Wednesday afternoon, 20 March. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1324 hours to find heavy smoke coming from the attic gable. Crews extinguished the fire and stayed to eject smoke from the house.
5 Joplin Fire units and 18 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with the JPD, and METS. No one was injured on the scene. Crews remained on scene until 1458 hours. Owner of the house is Bill Lloyd, 1212 E Fountain, Joplin.
The fire started in the bathroom closet, but undetermined cause of origin.
