Today is an interesting situation.  1) We are under a Heat Advisory for heat indices up to 105 degrees from Noon to 7 PM....and...2) We are under a slight risk for severe T-Storms from mid-day thru early evening.  So...just to be on the safe side, no siren test today for the City of Joplin and a big cautionary note to all to stay hydrated as well as weather aware.
