Structure Fire, 915 W “A” Street, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported Structure fire at 915 W “A” Street at 0235 hours Sunday morning, 02 December. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 0240 hours to find heavy fire and smoke conditions from the attic of the single story residential structure. The fire was extinguished and crews remained on scene until 0545. Fire and smoke damage was severe in nature and the house is currently uninhabitable.
The occupants (Randal Nally and Vicky Ehrman) advised everyone was out of the house when crews arrived.
There were no injuries to the fire crews of bystanders during the incident. 4 Joplin Fire units and 10 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with JPD and METS
The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
