Structure Fire, 505 ½ W 12th Street, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported Structure fire at 505 ½ W 12th Street at 2203 hours Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 2208 hours to find heavy fire and smoke conditions from the rear of the small single story residential structure. The fire was declared under control at 2240 hours. Fire and smoke damage was severe in nature and the house is uninhabitable.
The house was abandoned at the time of the fire with no utilities connected.
There were no injuries to the occupants or fire crews during the incident. 4 Joplin Fire units and 10 Joplin Fire personnel responded, along with JPD and METS
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
