SUBJECT:      Structure Fire 1815 S Ohio Ave.

On Tuesday, 24 July, 2018, at approximately 2:36 AM the Joplin Fire Department responded to a report of a residential structure fire at 1815 S Ohio Ave. The first crew arrived on scene at 2:43 AM to find a one-story wood framed house with fire showing. Crews extinguished the fire and overhauled the scene. Fire crews remained on scene until 4:49 AM.

There were no injuries to firefighting crews or civilians.  The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

The Joplin Fire Department responded with 5 units and 13 personnel and was assisted by the Joplin Police Department and METS Ambulance Service.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
