Structure Fire, 603 Glendale Rd, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 603 Glendale Rd, at 1118 hours Thursday morning. Fire crews arrived on scene to find a wood framed residential structure fully engulfed by flames and smoke. This address is out of the Joplin fire district so trucks acted as backup and water supply to the Redings Mill FD.
A total of 2 trucks and 9 firefighters worked the scene. JPD and METS and NCAD were on standby. The house is owned by Richard Thompson.
The cause of the fire was under investigation at the time of this release.
