URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Freezing drizzle developing late tonight...

.Freezing drizzle is expected to develop from late evening through

the overnight hours and continue into early Saturday morning.

Although amounts should be on the light side, with temperatures

falling into the 20s a glaze of ice is likely to form, especially

on elevated objects and untreated roads. The precipitation may end

briefly Saturday but another round of wintry precipitation will

be possible Saturday afternoon into Sunday.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO

9 AM CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing drizzle. Ice accumulations of up to one tenth

  of an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas and central, east central,

   southwest and west central Missouri.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The ice will result in difficult travel

  conditions. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or

freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for

slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while

driving. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling

from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
