Weather hazards expected... Limited Tornado risk. Limited Hail risk. Limited Thunderstorm wind damage risk. Limited Lightning risk. Limited Non thunderstorm wind risk. DISCUSSION...
Gusty southerly winds of 30 to 40 mph will impact western Missouri and far southeastern Kansas through early this evening. Thunderstorms will develop from west to east from late afternoon through this evening along and ahead of an advancing cold front. Some of these storms could become strong to locally severe. The most intense storms will be capable of producing damaging winds up to 60 mph, small hail, and the possibility of a couple of tornadoes.
