Additional scattered thunderstorms will then develop from
this afternoon into this evening, especially north of the U.S. 60 corridor. Some of these storms may become severe,
with hail up to the size of ping pong balls, damaging wind gusts to 60 mph, and frequent lightning being the
primary potential hazards. The greatest risk for severe storms will be west of U.S. 65 and north of U.S. 60.
