SUBJECT:      Dryer Fire at 4420 S Annie Ridge Dr.

• The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported dryer fire at 4420 S Annie Ridge Dr. on Thursday, 23 March, at 8:34 PM. The first crew arrived at 8:40 PM and found a smoldering dryer inside the residence.  Water was applied to extinguish the fire and ventilation performed on the residence.  Fire crews removed the dryer and remained on scene until 9:25 PM.
• There were no injuries to civilians or firefighting crews.
• The Fire Department responded with 5 apparatus and 13 personnel and was assisted by the Joplin Police Department and METS Ambulance Service.
