Structure Fire, 814 West A Street, Joplin, MO. –
At approximately 6:07 AM, Ladder 1C, Rescue 3C, Battalion 1C, Engine 3C, and Engine 2C responded to a residential structure fire at 814 West A Street. On arrival, personnel found heavy fire involvement to the front half of the structure. Personnel made an aggressive attack on the structure and had the fire controlled within 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported to either fire personnel or bystanders. 6 Joplin Fire units and 16 Joplin Fire personnel responded, as well as JPD and METS.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
