On Friday, September 28, 2012, Joplin Avenue between 26th Street and 27th Street will be closed to thru traffic and a detour route will be provided.

On Saturday, September 29, 2012, there will be lane drops on 20th Street and Connecticut Avenue. The lane drop on 20th Street will be on the outside eastbound lane and will begin 100 feet west of Grand Avenue and continue to the railroad tracks crossing 20th Street. The lane drop on Connecticut Avenue will be on the outside southbound lane and will start 250 feet north of 26th Street and continue south on Connecticut to 28th Street. These lane drops are needed to assist in the Kelsey Norman 5K and will last from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

On Sunday, September 30, 2012, Murphy Boulevard will be closed between Main Street and 4th Street. Pool Street between Murphy and Landreth and Landreth Avenue will also be closed off due to the Great Day of Service and was requested by the College Heights Christian Church and will last from 8am to 5pm.

Drivers are urged to use caution in these areas and will need to utilize alternate routes during this period.
