On Tuesday, September 25, 2012, 6th Street between Wall Avenue and Joplin Avenue will be closed from 7 am to 12 pm. The closure is needed to unload roofing material and other supplies needed to repair the roof on the Empire Electric building. Moffet Avenue between 26th Street and Byers Avenue will be closed to thru traffic during the day and reopen by the evening hours.
Drivers are urged to use caution in these areas and might need to utilize alternate routes during this period.
