Thursday, September 20, 2012, Main Street will be closed for the 3rd Thursday of the month celebration. Main Street from 4th Street to 7th Street will be closed from 2 pm to 10:00 pm and 5th Street and 6th Street will be closed from Joplin Street to Virginia Street.

Sunday, September 23, 2012, Bramar Drive to the cul-de-sac from Murphy Boulevard will be closed for a block party from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be a second closure on Cedar Ridge Road. This closure will be just the cul-de-sac at the end of the road and the request is for another block party for the area and will last from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Monday, September 24, 2012, Picher Avenue will be closed for the “Royals build day in Joplin”. Picher Avenue from 24th Street to 26th Street will be closed to thru traffic as well as 25th Street from Empire Avenue to Murphy Avenue.
