The Joplin City Health Department has seasonal flu vaccinations open to the public at a cost of $15.00. Payment is by cash, adult Medicaid or Medicare Part B. Those 65 or older should present a Medicare card (Part B) and a claim will be filed with Medicare on their behalf.
This offer is open to the public. Flu vaccinations are for individuals three years of age and older. At present time, a very small quantity of flu shots are available for pregnant women and children younger than three years of age. If you are pregnant or have children younger than three years of age please contact us for further information at 417-623-6122.
Influenza vaccinations will be given by appointment on Monday, September 24, 2012, from
8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; and Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This immunization clinic will be held in the upper level entrance (west side) of the Joplin City Health Department, 321 E. Fourth Street.
