Structure Fire, 4801 S Rangeline, Joplin, MO.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 4801 S Rangeline, at 1:18 AM, Monday, 25 May, 2015. Fire crews arrived on the scene at 1:22 AM to find a vacant residential structure with flames showing though the roof and throughout the structure. Crews declared the fire under control at 1:52 AM.
The owner of the home is listed as Norma Burtrum. No one was in the structure at the time of the fire.
No injuries were reported to either fire personnel or others in the area. 5 Joplin Fire units and 14 Joplin Fire personnel responded as well as Redings Mill FD, which provided assistance in fighting the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Fire Marshall.
