To All:
Just talked to the NWS in Springfield. We can expect the next round of storms to enter our area around 6PM (5PM - 7PM). The current thinking is winds of maybe 60 MPH and half-dollar sized hail. Tornado chances are non-zero (5%) so that's pretty minimal. The main thing to pay attention to is the fact that the storms will reach us before sundown, thus generating the maximum instability to affect any storms that do develop. Don't forget the potential for flash flooding, especially at low water crossings.
Stay tuned to your fav local weather info sources for updates throughout the late afternoon and early evening.
