Structure Fire, 32nd & Connecticut, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to the area of 32nd and Connecticut Ave for a structure Fire at 10:20 PM on Monday, 27 October. Crews arrived on scene at 10:29 PM to find a three story concrete structure that was under construction. The fire was on the first floor of the structure. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and it was declared out at 10:40 PM. Crews remained on scene until 1:10 AM.
Four State Homes is the company constructing the building.
7 Fire units and 18 Firefighters responded to the scene, as well as JPD and METS. No one was injured on the scene.
The cause of the fire was investigated by both the Fire Marshall and the JPD.
