Structure Fire, 3529 S Virginia, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a possible grass fire in the area of 34th and Hearnes at 11:49 PM on Sunday, 26 October. Crews arrived on scene at 11:57 PM to find an old camper trailer, being used for storage, on fire and fully involved. The fire had spread to a one story wood frame residential structure. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and it was declared out at 12:34 AM on Monday, 27 October. Crews remained on scene until 1:56 AM.
The building is owned by Anna Doss.
5 Fire units and 15 Firefighters responded to the scene, as well as JPD and METS. No one was injured on the scene.
The cause of the fire was investigated and found to be undetermined.
