Structure Fire, 2017 S Annie Baxter, Joplin, Mo.
The Joplin Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 207 S Annie Baxter at 0408 hours Friday morning. Fire crews arrived on the scene to find a fire on the front porch of the home. An occupant was fighting the fire with a garden hose as the first truck arrived. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
The last unit cleared the scene at 0445 hours.
Home ownership and occupancy were not available at the time of this report.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
