Persons wishing to address the City Council regarding an item on the agenda should complete a Request to Address Council and give it to the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. When your name is called, approach the podium, and state your name clearly for the record. If your request pertains to a Public Hearing item, you do not need to submit a request. You will have five (5) minutes to speak.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-104

AN ORDINANCE    approving an agreement and work authorization with Allgeier Martin and Associates Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Ninety-Five Thousand and 00/100 dollars ($95,000.00) for engineering services associated with the Joplin WWTP Improvements 2024 and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-105

AN ORDINANCE approving the issuance of a Purchase Order to MagneGrip for the purchase and installation of a MagneGrip® Diesel Exhaust Extraction System for removal of vehicle and apparatus exhaust emissions, as budgeted in the Annual Budget of the City of Joplin for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 as adopted by Council Bill No. 2023-158 on October 16, 2023; and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-501

AN ORDINANCE    submitting to the electors of the City of Joplin, at a Special Election on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the question of whether the City shall extend a Capital Improvements Sales Tax of three-eighths (3/8ths) of one percent (1%) for a period of twelve (12) years for the purpose of funding capital improvements, prescribing a form of Ballot thereof, and containing an emergency clause.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-601

AN ORDINANCE approving a Contract by and between the City of Joplin and Joplin Industrial Electric Company, in the amount of Three Hundred and Sixty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Six Dollars ($365,726) for Mercy Park Electrical Improvement services authorizing the City Manager to execute said Contract by and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2024-602

AN ORDINANCE    approving a Contract by and between the City of Joplin and Joplin Industrial Electric Company, in the amount of Two Hundred and Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Two Dollars and No Cents ($211,502.00) for Joe Becker Stadium Improvement services; authorizing the City Manager to execute said Contract by and on behalf of the City of Joplin; and, amending the Annual Budget of the City of Joplin for the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 as adopted by Ordinance 2023-158 on October 16, 2023.
