Pool birthday party
Are you having a party and running out of ideas? Call the Joplin Parks and Recreation Department today and have your “Party at the Pool!” 

Reservations begin on the first Monday in April and are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Reservations can be made by calling 417-625-4750 or visiting the Joplin Parks & Recreation office at 3301 W. 1st Street.

Schifferdecker Aquatic Center Rental Options

Entire Facility
  • Available Party Days: Saturdays & Sundays
  • Time: 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm or 6:45 pm - 9:45 pm (2 hour party minimum required)
  • Price: 
    • $400 for 2 hour party
    • $600 for 3 hour party
    • Price covers up to 150 people, each additional swimmer is $5.50; must be paid during event
Lazy River
  • Available Party Days: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays
  • Time: 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm or 6:45 pm - 9:45 pm (2 hour party minimum required)
  • Price: 
    • $250 for 2 hour party
    • $375 for 3 hour party
    • Price covers up to 75 people, each additional swimmer is $5.50; must be paid during event
