Storm Shelter Info... Storm Shelter Registration: We encourage every citizen to Shelter In Place in the event of a severe weather situation. There simply isn't enough time to go to a remote location for shelter. With this in mind:
- If you have a storm shelter on your property within the City of Joplin, and would like the Joplin Police Department to have a record of its location so officers could more quickly find you should a future event occur, take a few moments to fill out the Storm Shelter Inventory here.
