Thank you for your interest in recycling! Joplin’s Drop-Off Recycling Center accepts recyclable materials from residents of McDonald, Newton, Jasper, Barton and Vernon Counties.

Reuse Station
We accept egg cartons for reuse by local chicken farmers.
We closed our Reuse Station at the start of COVID-19. Please call 417-624-0820 ext. 1501 or email [email protected] to receive information about local resources for donating or accepting items for reuse.
Shredding
For sensitive documents, we offer secure and safe document destruction free of charge.
Curbside Recycling
Interested in signing up for curbside recycling? The City contracts with Republic Services for its residential trash service and curbside recycling program. For more information, or to sign up, visit the Republic Services website or call them at 1-800-431-1507.
Starting July 5, 2021 Republic Services has adjusted the schedule and routes of customers who have opted to have collection of recyclable items at curbside. Please review the map to determine your day and schedule of your pick up service.
