2 Physician appointments needed. (Must be licensed to practice in the State of Missouri) - Conventions and Visitors' Bureau Advisory Board (Joplin resident but if no other qualified applicant, then a non-resident may apply.) 1 vacancy - Must be a member of the media.
- Solid Waste Advisory Commission (Joplin resident but if no other qualified applicant, then a non-resident may apply.)
2 vacancies - Must be a Commercial/Retail business owner. - ADA Accessibility Committee (3-year term)
1 vacancy - No specific qualifications. - Joplin Redevelopment Corporation (3-year term) (Joplin resident but if no other qualified applicant, then a non-resident may apply.)
1 vacancy - Board of Adjustment (5-year term) (Qualified voter of the city)
1 vacancy - Tax Increment Financing Commission (4-year term) (Joplin resident but if no other qualified applicant, then a non-resident may apply.)
