The Department of Human Resources of the City of Joplin provides a variety of support services to other departments in the areas of Administration, Employee Relations, Employment, Compensation, Benefits, Wellness and Risk Management. The City of Joplin offers a variety of municipal career opportunities with more than 145 job classifications.

Those who are interested in public service with the City of Joplin may review the following job opportunities and submit a City of Joplin application for employment to the Human Resources Department where it will be filed for the initial position for which you apply.
