Music in the Park concert set for Sunday, July 11

This Sunday, July 11th , the City of Joplin Parks and Recreation will continue the “Music in the Park” series for area residents. Crowder Jazz Orchestra will perform at 6 p.m. at the amphitheater in Landreth Park.
The 2010 Concert Series will be held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month through August at the Landreth Park Amphitheater. This free event will offer a variety of local bands and performers for the enjoyment of the public. Music ranges from classic rock, contemporary Christian to country.
Other bands performing for the series include oFFSET sUNSET on July 25th, Diversity Band on August 8th, Borderline on August 22nd. The series will continue into September with Beneath the Surface performing September 12th and an added concert by the Heartland Concert Band on September 26th.
