Wonders of Wildlife to Bring Live Animals to Joplin Public Library
June 18, 2010
Wonders of Wildlife’s outreach education coordinator Misty Mitchell will continue the 2010 Children’s Summer Reading Club fun when she visits the Joplin Public Library on Thursday, June 24th. She will present Splish Splash, a family friendly show on aquatic animals where participants will have the opportunity to meet several live animals and answer questions about each. Such as, “Are cavefish blind?” or “Does a shark have over 20,000 teeth in a lifetime?”.
Misty will present back-to-back shows in the library’s Large Meeting Room during her visit, with the first program starting promptly at 2:30 p.m. and a repeat performance taking place at 3:30 p.m.
