Joplin Farmers Market cancelled for May 15 due to wet conditions

The Farmer’s Market scheduled for Saturday, May 15th has been cancelled because of weather conditions. Due to the high volume of rainfall, the Market’s vendors have had difficulties harvesting their crops, and requested re-opening on Saturday, May 22nd.
The City staff appreciates the public’s support of the Market and looks forward to seeing everyone next Saturday, May 22.
The Farmers Market is open on Saturdays in May, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In June, Wednesdays will be added to the Market. The Market will be open on Saturdays and Wednesdays from June 2 through September 25.
