On May 28, 2013, the City of Joplin will be turning the traffic signals on at 26th and Joplin and 26th and Wall. These signals will be set to flash yellow on 26th Street and red on Joplin and Wall. The signals will continue to flash for a week and on June 4th, the signals will be turned over to cycle through regular signal timing for the intersections. Message boards will be placed along the routes to warn traffic to the changes/additions to the traffic control devices. Residents should be cautioned in this area with the changes in traffic control devices at these intersections.
