WARNING FOR LOW HUMIDITY...GUSTY WINDS...AND DROUGHT AFFECTED
VEGETATION ...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING. A
RED FLAG WARNING HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM CDT
THURSDAY.

* AFFECTED AREA...IN KANSAS...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 073 BOURBON...
FIRE WEATHER ZONE 097 CRAWFORD AND FIRE WEATHER ZONE 101
CHEROKEE. IN MISSOURI...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 066 VERNON...FIRE
WEATHER ZONE 077 BARTON...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 088 JASPER...FIRE
WEATHER ZONE 093 NEWTON AND FIRE WEATHER ZONE 101 MCDONALD.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...SOUTH 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* TIMING...THROUGH 8 PM THIS EVENING. ANOTHER WARNING IS IN AFFECT
THURSDAY FROM 11 AM TO 8 PM.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 15 TO 20 PERCENT THIS AFTERNOON.
VALUES AS LOW AS 20 PERCENT THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* TEMPERATURES...HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 90S TODAY AND THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...DRY VEGETATION WILL EASILY CATCH FIRE FROM SPARKS FROM
EQUIPMENT...CIGARETTES...AND OUTDOOR COOKING AND CAMPING FIRES.
THE RESULTING FIRES WILL SPREAD RAPIDLY WITH THE GUSTY
WINDS...EASILY ESCAPING CONTROL AND MAKING CONTAINMENT EXTREMELY
DIFFICULT AS FIRE GROW LARGER.
