RESOLUTION NO. 2017-008

A RESOLUTION authorizing the filing of a Ninth Amendment to the Initial Action Plan with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as required for use of the City of Joplin’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program (Round 1); and authorizing the City Manager to execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the City of Joplin.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 2017-139

AN ORDINANCE approving Work Authorization with Allgeier-Martin & Associates Inc. in the not to exceed amount of Thirty Thousand and One and No/100 Dollars ($30,001.00) for engineering services associated Grit Auger Design, Bidding and Construction Management for the Turkey Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to enter into an Agreement with R.E. Smith Construction for Construction Services for the new Joplin Senior Center, authorizing the City Manager, or his designee, to execute said Agreement for the City; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing the City of Joplin to execute Work Authorization #2 to the Master Services Agreement for Professional Administrative Consulting Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Sector LLP (PwC) to provide implementation and administrative activities, not to exceed One Million, Nine Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand and Forty Dollars ($1,952,040) and authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute said Agreement; and containing an emergency clause.

AN ORDINANCE authorizing Local Public Health Department Infrastructure Grant Agreement 17-0202-PHI-17, by and between the Missouri Foundation For Health, and the City of Joplin, Missouri, for a 12 month period beginning June 1, 2017, for the purposes of purchasing various equipment and supplies, for an amount of Thirty Thousand Dollars, no Cents, ($30,000.00); and, amending the Annual Budget of the City of Joplin for the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 as adopted by Ordinance 2016-177 on October 17, 2016; and, authorizing the City Manager to execute the same by and on behalf of the City of Joplin, Missouri; and, containing an emergency clause
