Those who are interested in public service with the City of Joplin may review the following job opportunities and submit a City of Joplin application for employment to the Human Resources Department where it will be filed for the initial position for which you apply. We will accept applications for all positions and save in our files for up to one (1) year. Here you can view our job descriptions. If a position comes open, the department will review those applications to select from to have interviews set up. After review of the job description for duties, tasks and requirements and you are interested in applying, please submit a City of Joplin application for employment to the Human Resources Department.
